Short Term Apprenticeship Rammed-earth Training Program
The Short Term Apprenticeship Rammed-earth Training (S.T.A.R.T.) program is a special program being organized by Kasa Konsultants involving the training and raising of competent labor force that will be experience and knowledgeable enough to do Rammed-Earth Projects of various dimensions. Rammed Earth construction as a very specialized field of construction requires skilled, experience and knowledgeable personnel to do projects properly. The field provides a lot of economic and opportunities as well as possible solutions in the area of housing and real estates. In the past few months, we have had several practical workshop program lasting 5 - 7 days with participants attending from within Ghana and beyond. The S.T.A.R.T. is a more extended and intensive program that will hold for 2-3 months on either a full time or part time basis. Who can register for it?
The S.T.A.R.T. is for individuals, Male / Females, who will want to gain vital skill and competence in the specialized area of Rammed Earth Construction. Interested persons may already be in construction, doing other jobs or may not even know much about construction
What are the minimum requirements?
Prospective trainees do not require any academic qualification. However, the trainee must have a lot of enthusiasm and desire to learn and work practically. The trainee must also come equipped with work materials including work overall clothes, work boot, safety helmet, reflector jacket, work hand gloves and eye goggles.
Where are the centres for the training?
The S.T.A.R.T. program will run in various parts of the country simultaneously. The list of specific location for each session will be made available and prospective trainee may choose the most convenient location for them
What modules are available and what are the duration?
The program will run in 2 modules based on the availability schedule of the trainee. There will be the regular Full-time module for trainees who would be available for the training sessions daily (usually Monday to Fridays) and the Part time module which will run on schedules such as weekend and evenings as availability of the trainees would allow
Are there employment opportunities after the training?
With the growing opportunities in the Rammed Earth Construction business, there will be opportunities for gainful employment for trainees after this program. These opportunities may come as follows:1. Opportunity to join our team at Kasa Konsultants. This would make the individual a paid part time or full time adhoc Sstaff of Kasa Konsultants
2. Opportunity to work with any other Rammed Earth construction company as a trained hand
3. Opportunity to start your own Rammed earth construction business. With the knowledge and experience gained from this practical training, you can function as a consultant, resource person etc. Kasa Konsultants will always be on hand to collaborate and technically assist trainees who start up their on Rammed Earth construction business.

What is the fee for this program?
Trainees on the full time module are to pay GHs 1500 for Ghanaians and US$150 or its equivalent for non-Ghanaians.Trainees on the Part time module will pay GHs 2000 for Ghanaians and US$200 or its equivalent for non-Ghanaians.
Will there be accommodation arrangements for trainees who need such arrangements?
Accommodation arrangements may be arranged for prospective trainees who may require such arrangements. The details of the arrangement and the fee for the arrangement will be communicated based on the location and specificity of the location. Trainees will basically be responsible for their welfare during the training period.

Registration forms may be obtained, filled and submitted at our office or directly filled on our website and submitted using the registration link stated below. The training fee should also be paid in our office or sent in by Mobile money using approved details.Registration is duly completed with adequate indication of payment of the training fee with a copy of the payment details. Registered trainees will be contacted within 2 working days of completing their registration and having payments verified.
